Aldi Shoppers React to Accidentally X-Rated Toy: 'Someone's Getting Fired'

Aldi shoppers definitely did not expect to see this when perusing the aisles at the grocery store chain.

The popular store recently sparked a bit of online controversy after fans noticed a rather not safe for work (NSFW) detail on a stuffed animal, which shoppers could only assume was an overlooked design mistake.

"Hey ALDI I feel like this is bad product design 😂," one fan wrote on Reddit, sharing a photo of a pile of ALDI stuffed animal pillows, including one dog plush toy with a phallic-looking design stamped right near the crotch.

The tag on the product clearly reads "Kids Pillow," insisting that the product is intended for children despite its "potentially inappropriate" undertones.

"I can't believe no one thought 'hmm, potentially inappropriate' at any point in the design process 😂" one person wrote in the comments, while another user insisted, "Someone's getting fired..."

"I can't unsee it," someone else declared.

The stuffed animal appeared to have a little pouch that the bone was sticking out of, though shoppers couldn't decide if that made the design flaw better or worse.

"I feel like they added the pouch as an after thought and figured they got away with it," one user speculated.

"Its even got a pouch for 'nuts,'" someone else quipped.

More fans who seemed to get a kick out of the apparent design gaffe couldn't help but crack a few jokes, with one Reddit user commenting, "No wonder he's smiling!"

"it was just so happy to see you," someone else joked.
