Aldi's next Special Buys drop, on Saturday July 9, is already sending people wild.
Saving shoppers $79 is Aldi's $29.99 Snuggle Hoodie – a dupe of the The Oodie's cult sherpa-lined fleece hooded blanket which normally retails for $109 (but is currently on sale for $84).
The Aldi hoodie is available in both adult and kids sizes and comes in very similar designs to The Oodie, including the best-selling avocado print.

How does Aldi's dupe compare?
Aldi's Snuggle Hoodie is a lot cheaper than The Oodie, and based on each website's product descriptions, they seem to share more similarities than differences.
Both The Oodie and the Aldi version are made from super soft fleece – the only minor difference being that the Oodie is lined with its trademark Toastytek™ flannel fleece on the exterior.
Just like The Oodie, Aldi's Snuggle Hoodie features a large pouch to keep your hands warm and seems to be a similar length, however the exact measurements have not been disclosed on the Aldi website.
Both of the fleece hooded blankets are machine washable with one adult size fitting most.
Best-selling prints
In terms of design, Aldi's adult Snuggle Hoodie is available in four designs – pale pink, dark grey, blue with animal print, and the pale green avocado design.
The children's selection is priced at $19 and offers four fun prints – a dark grey panda design, pale green dog print, pale pink with yellow pineapples, and pale blue print with koalas, lending inspiration from The Oodie's koala print.
The Oodie founder responds to Aldi's replica designs
Upon seeing Aldi's replica print, the Australian founder of The Oodie, Davie Fogarty, says that while the imitation is "flattering", he thinks shoppers will continue to buy his "premium" product.
"While it is flattering to see our trademarked Avocado design bring inspiration to big retail chains, we are confident customers will appreciate our premium product quality and want to support an Australian business by shopping the original Oodie," he told The Daily Mail.
However, it's not just Aldi replicating The Oodie's fleecy design.
Big W launched a collection of "sherpa hoodie blankets" for $39, and Kmart recently released three designs of its own "pullover gown" for $29.
