Aldi shoppers go crazy for $30 hair tool

Aldi has once again sent shoppers into a frenzy, offering up a luxury hair waver dupe at a fraction of the price of brand-name products.

The German retailer's version of the hair waver hit shelves last Wednesday and at $29.99, it's already proving to be a must-have item.

"Aldi coming through with the goods," one excited shopper commented about the Special Buy, with another adding: "It's so cheap!"

It also comes with a glove, an extra-long three-metre swivel cord, and temperature control.

Similar hair wavers retail for as much as $85, so this Aldi Special Buy is a steal.

The product is part of the supermarket's Haircare, Health and Beauty Special Buys, with a Hair Straightening brush for $19.99, a Professional Hair Dryer for $24.99 and assorted Haircarebear Gummies available as well for just $14.99.

Aldi shoppers are also running to pick up popular budget skincare brand Lacura's new Summer Touch line.

The Summer Touch Booty Balm promises to help firm skin using guarana extract and coconut oil and is strikingly similar to Sol de Janeiro's popular Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, which retails at Mecca for $72.

According to Aldi's website, there are shipping delays across the summer beauty Special Buys range, so some products won't be in store on the advertised date.

As always, it's best to check out Aldi's Special Buys Product Delays page on the retailer's website.
