Aldi’s $15 Cuisinart Copycat Was So Popular, It’s Back on Shelves This Week
Perfect for soups, DIY PSLs, and quick homemade mayo.
Some of the most useful kitchen gadgets are often the smallest and simplest. Take a bench scraper, for example—handy for baking and scooping up just-chopped veggies. Another is Aldi’s $3 garlic chopper, which fits in the palm of your hand and makes frequent appearances in the store’s Finds Aisle. If you cook often, it’s a game-changer.
One slightly larger but equally essential gadget is an immersion blender. It’s compact enough to fit in a kitchen drawer, saving precious counter and cabinet space. Many home cooks consider it one of their most-used kitchen tools. This blender, which you can plunge directly into a pot to create creamy soups or use to froth ingredients for a homemade pumpkin spice latte, feels tailor-made for fall but is useful year-round.
This week, the Aldi Finds Aisle—full of must-have kitchen gadgets, home decor, and more—features an immersion (stick) blender that might just become one of your most-used tools. And at just $15, it’s a steal.
Aldi’s Ambiano Immersion Blender Is Back
Earlier this year, Aldi sold a $25 immersion blender/whisk/small food processor combo, with a single base that powers all three attachments. But if you already own a stand-alone food processor, you might only need a stick blender. This handy tool can go straight into a pot of butternut squash soup or be used with the whisk attachment to whip up a small batch of homemade whipped cream or mayo.
This is the week to grab one of these stick blenders with a whisk attachment for just $15—just in time for peak creamy soup and frothy hot beverage season. The Ambiano Immersion Blender with whisk attachment is comparable to Cuisiart's $70 version, minus the chopper attachment. However, the Ambiano outshines Cuisinart where it counts: motor power. The Ambiano boasts a 500W motor, while Cuisinart’s is 300W.
Aldi’s stick blender comes in black, white, or blue. The blender stick with metal blades and the whisk are easy to switch out from the base and are dishwasher-safe (though the base is not).
The Ambiano Immersion Blender will hit the Aldi Finds Aisle on Sept. 4, and it’s expected to sell out quickly. So, plan to visit Aldi as close to the 4th as possible!
