Yahoo Lifestyle Alan Cumming Wants to Guest Star on 'And Just Like That' (Exclusive)
Alan Cumming wants to return to the Sex and the City universe. As spinoff series And Just Like That... enters it's third season and guest stars from the original show like Candice Bergen (Enid Frick), Bridget Moynahan (Natasha Naginsky) and Molly Price (Susan Sharon) return, Cumming would like in on the action.
"Sure. Yes. I love that character," the Emmy-winning host of The Traitors exclusively told Parade as part of the Sunday, March 2, cover story, when asked if he'd like to return to the franchise. "I run into Sarah Jessica [Parker] from time to time, and it's always nice to see her. Also Cynthia [Nixon] I know. I see her quite a lot, so yes, I would love to."
For those of you not intimately aware with Sex and the City's side characters, Cumming appeared in Episode 2 of the show's fourth season as O (formerly known as Oscar). In "The Real Me," which you may remember as the episode where Carrie Bradshaw wipes out on a fashion week runway only to be climbed over by Heidi Klum, Cumming plays a fashion designer who dresses Bradshaw and keeps saying, "Me likey."
"I haven't really seen the new version, I don't think," Cumming said of And Just Like That.... "I have only really watched the first few episodes, but I would like to go on it. I wonder what he'd be doing now, my designer from Dolce & Gabbana. People say to me all the time, 'Trot on. Trot on.'"
Season 3 of And Just Like That... is set to air later this year, so Cumming seems to have missed the boat on that, but should Parker, Nixon and Kristin Davis be back for a fourth season, please put Carrie back in another fashion show.
