When I think about gross things that humans do, I immediately think of the earwax buildup on my AirPods. The sticky gross goop is goopy and gross! And no matter how clean my ears are, the buildup is just…there.
I know you’re dealing with it too because, like me, you are but a gross human with perfectly natural but definitely not-cute bodily functions. Obviously, earwax buildup isn’t the most aesthetic thing to look at, but it can seriously reduce your AirPods sound quality and connectivity functions.
It’s super easy to use. All you need to do is lay the AirSquares putty on a flat surface and then gently press your AirPod or other earbud against the putty. Finally, slowly peel it away to remove the wax and gunk. And then your AirPods are cute again, and you can actually listen to 1989 (Taylor’s Version) with the sound quality that it deserves.
Honestly, you can also use the AirPods cleaner for any necessary squish-and-peel putty situation. Use it for the crumbs on your keyboard, lint lining your purse and whatever other difficult debris is giving you a tough time.
With over 3,500 reviews and a 4.4 out of 5 stars rating, Amazon shoppers can’t stop obsessing over the AirSquares Earbud Cleaning Putty.
“I’ve had my AirPods for three years and cleaned as best as I could without damaging the AirPods,” wrote one reviewer. “Bought this and let me just say my it looked like I never cleaned them! Took all gunk of the AirPods and now I don’t have to raise volume all the way!”
One Amazon shopper even used the AirPods cleaner to restore the sound quality of the built-in iPhone speaker, saying that their iPhone is “brand new” and “super loud” again.
Another commented that the AirPods cleaner is the only way to clean your AirPods: “The putty is sticky enough to pull out all the gunk but it’s super sticky to leave a residue. Def will be a future purchase as long as I use earbuds!!!”
No more gross and gunky AirPods anymore, please!
