You know that pair of boots you've been eyeing off for a few weeks?

What about that longline coat that goes with countless looks?

Well, you can add them to your list as Afterpay Day is coming soon.

The huge four-day sale event starts Thursday 18th August and is set to be a hit with incredible deals across the biggest brands in every category.

What is Afterpay Day?

Afterpay Day is your chance to score those must-have items on your wish list without breaking the bank

It's the universe's gift to all of us, giving you the chance to own your favourite items in four equal fortnightly instalments, but instead of paying full price, you'll be getting up to 70% off!

Afterpay Day is offered only twice a year, with the most recent sale in March hundreds of thousands of Australians scored big and saved even more.

Now, Afterpay Day is coming again from 18th to the 21st August with epic deals, drops and prizes across thousands of brands.

What kind of deals can I get?

Afterpay haven't officially disclosed the August's line up, but if the March sale is anything to go by, you can expect local and global brands like Dyson, The Iconic, Webjet, adidas, JB Hi-Fi, Kmart, Adore Beauty, eBay and more.

Yes, you can buy flights on Afterpay!

Huge brands will be slashing prices across their popular items by up to 70%, giving Australians the chance to own a cult Dyson air wrap and *that* must-have skincare product that's normally out of reach.

If you're unsure, we'll be listing all the best deals from the biggest brands right here on Yahoo lifestyle so make sure you check-in!

How do I know where to shop?

On average, around 63,000 businesses in Australia offer Afterpay as a payment option so most chain retailers and well-known brands are expected to join the sale event.

If you’re not sure, you can always check the retailer’s payment options via their website or take a look at Afterpay's store directory.

Is it only online?

No! The beautiful thing about Afterpay is that you can use it in-store with your Afterpay app.

Myer, David Jones and more offer purchases up to $1000 using the Afterpay app in their stores, making it easy to source the exact product you're after and take it home with you that day, but only paying a fraction of the price.

If a store offers Afterpay, they will most likely have it displayed on their checkout desk and you can always ask staff if you're unsure.
