Costco's Food Court Is Switching Its Menu for 2025

A trip to Costco just isn't complete without a stop at their lauded food court. Shoppers flock to offerings like the affordable hot dog combo, jumbo slices of pizza, and cups of soft-serve ice cream, but the warehouse has been keeping us on our toes lately with updates to the menu. Fear not, most of the favorites remain, but there will be big changes (hello, Coca-Cola products!) in store for 2025. Here's what you need to know before you plan your next outing.

Do you need a Costco membership to visit the food court?

Some shoppers report visiting the food court without a membership, but a representative from Costco told Country Living, "Costco is a membership club, therefore, you must have a membership card to enter the warehouse and/or food courts." Locations are now scanning membership cards upon entry, so be sure to have your card ready to go.

When is the Costco food court open?

Hours may vary by location, but warehouse hours are typically 10-8:30 Monday-Friday, 9:30-6 Saturday, and 10-6 Sunday. The food court is open during normal operating hours, but keep in mind that you'll want to place large orders (for a full pizza, for example) in advance of that closing time. Remember that all Costco locations close for seven holidays each year (New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day), so the food court will be closed during those days too.

What menu items are available at the Costco food court?

  • Hot dog and Drink Combo, $1.50: This menu item is super-popular with Costco customers, and for good reason. The price for a quarter-pound all-beef hotdog and 20-ounce drink (they will be switching to Coke products this year) is $1.50, and that has not changed since 1985.

  • Chicken & Bacon Sandwich, $6.99: The sandwich is the most-changed option on the Costco food court menu. After roast beef and turkey options, locations are now selling sandwiches filled with roasted chicken breast, Cheddar cheese, bacon jam, and a mayo/mustard blend.

  • Pizza, $1.99-$9.95: The Costco pizza is a staple in our household. Options are limited, but the price is hard to beat. You can choose from cheese or pepperoni, and the pizza is sold by the (huge) slice for $1.99 or an 18-inch whole pizza for $9.95. Order the whole pizza when you start your shopping trip, or call ahead.

  • Soda, $0.69: Shopping can make you thirsty! Pick up a 20-ounce soda and get a refill on the way out of the store. Costco is shopping to Coca-Cola products in 2025, and it hasn't been announced if the price will change.

  • Ice Cream Sundae, $2.49: The affordable sundae starts with vanilla ice cream and comes topped with your choice of strawberries or chocolate.

  • Ice Cream Cup, $1.99: You can't beat the simple ice cream cup. Choose from vanilla or chocolate. For now, the strawberry ice cream is out.

  • Chocolate Chip Cookie, $2.49: The oversize cookie comes warm and is big enough to share if you're feeling generous. It replaced the churro on the menu in January 2024. It's a delicious treat but be sure to grab some extra napkins for the gooey chocolate!

  • Cold Brew Mocha Freeze, $2.99: If you need a caffeine fix, the mocha freeze combines cold-brew coffee made from Kirkland Signature Columbian beans with chocolate.

  • Fruit Smoothie, $2.99: For a fruity treat, try the strawberry-and-blackberry smoothie which comes with four servings of fruit and no added sugar.

  • Rotisserie Chicken Caesar Salad, $6.99: Fans of the famous rotisserie chicken should try this salad option that combines rotisserie chicken breast, romaine, Parmesan cheese, and creamy caesar dressing.

  • Chicken Bake, $3.99: The chicken bake is a lot of food for less than $4. It includes chicken breast, cheese, bacon, and Caesar dressing wrapped in bread.
