1.Aubrey Plaza had a stroke at age 20 that left her "briefly" paralyzed.
The Parks and Recreation alum shared details of her sudden, unexpected stroke on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show, last September. "It happened mid-sentence," she said.
2.Nick Cannon was diagnosed with lupus in 2012 when he was 31.
In 2022, the media mogul shared that he'd been documenting his journey living with the incurable chronic autoimmune disease. "Ten years ago, I experienced a sudden and mysterious illness that almost took my life. At the time, I had no idea it was lupus. And, you know me, I always have to have a camera on. So I would literally open up my phone, grab my camera and I would talk to the camera, and I documented the entire health journey."
3.Emilia Clarke suffered two brain hemorrhages in her mid-20s in between filming seasons of Game of Thrones.
During an interview on Live with Kelly and Mark, the Mother of Dragons opened up about the life-threatening ordeal and the surgery that didn't go as planned. She was diagnosed with SAH (subarachnoid hemorrhage; which is triggered by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain).

As she got older, Sarah's kidneys began to fail. She's undergone two kidney transplants — her dad donated his kidney in 2012, but her body rejected it. In 2017, she received a second transplant from her brother. The Modern Family star revealed there are episodes she doesn't remember filming due to her illness.
6.Tyler James Williams was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when he was 24. It's a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that can damage any part of the digestive system, from the mouth to the anus.
According to Men's Health, "He underwent emergency surgery to remove six inches of lower intestine. Then things got worse: His intestines were too beat-up to heal back together, and they perforated. He went septic as doctors raced him back into surgery. He ended up living on intravenous foods with an ostomy bag for several months."
7.Selena Gomez was diagnosed with lupus in 2013 in her early 20s. Four years later she underwent a kidney transplant with her former best friend, How I Met Your Father star Francia Raisa.

8.Frankie Muniz has been suffering from mini-strokes and memory loss since 2012. It began when he was 26. A mini-stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) occurs when the blood supply to the brain is temporarily cut off.
“First, I lose my peripheral vision,” Frankie told People. “And I can see people but I can’t recognize them. I can see words but I can’t tell what they say. Then I start going numb. It’s a gross feeling. But I know now when it’s going to come. I usually go lay down and wait [for it to be over].”
9.Lastly, after battling with "excruciating" and "debilitating" pain years prior, Halsey was ultimately diagnosed with endometriosis when she was 21 in 2016. Endometriosis is defined as "a condition in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus, or endometrium, grow outside the uterus."
Halsey has remained open with her fans about her health journey which has included being misdiagnosed, undergoing multiple surgeries, and suffering a miscarriage before a show.
