You probably already have a colander in your kitchen for draining pasta on spaghetti night or rinsing vegetables for a green salad. And, if your space is limited, you might wrestle with how and where to store it when it’s not in use.

Luckily, Aldi is selling a colander that’s just as useful as the one you likely have, but takes up way less space when you store it. It functions like an expandable colander our editors love from Crate & Barrel, only the popular home goods store’s version takes up more room and costs three times as much. Here's what you need to know about the latest must-have Aldi Find.

Aldi’s Crofton Collapsible Extendable Sink Colander

If your colander isn’t collapsible and extendable, you may want to head to Aldi starting June 12 to hit the Aldi Finds aisle (where the store adds limited-time items weekly). The Crofton Extendable Sink Colander has extendable handles that fit right over your sink. If you place your cutting board next to the sink, you can chop vegetables and slide them right into the colander to rinse.

The colander measures 15.35 x 10.35 x 4.88 inches, and when the handles are extended it stretches out to 24 inches (bigger than Crate & Barrel’s version), so it fits in most sinks. It’s dishwasher-safe, comes in a choice of green or gray, and costs $9.99, which is a steal compared to Crate & Barrel's $30 version.
