7 Times Kamala Harris Chewed Up And Spit Out Her Opponents In Debates

If you're on the side of TikTok where people are making the now-infamous Brat-themed edits of Vice President Kamala Harris, or you follow @KamalaHQ, you've probably seen one or two viral videos of Harris debating, questioning, or giving arguments. Like this one, which currently has over 1.2 million likes:

And if not, congratulations on not being chronically online! Or, maybe you're familiar with Harris's old debates and arguments because you watched them live and not because you saw them alongside TikToks of her set to Chappell Roan's "Femininomenon." Good for you!

Whatever the case, with Vice President Kamala Harris securing support as the presumed Democratic nominee and ramping up on the campaign trail, people are honing in on her debate skills before a potential Trump face-off, especially after President Joe Biden's disastrous debate that ultimately led to the (successful) campaign to get him to exit the race. Womp womp.

I, too, would like to see more than one debate ~actually~, because I fear she might eat him up. So, *cracks knuckles* let's take a closer look at some of her most cutting moments:

1.When Mike Pence interrupted Kamala Harris during the 2020 vice presidential debate, and she called him out so matter-of-factly, women everywhere sighed a huge relief:

2.When Brett Kavanaugh could not answer Harris's question, "Can you think of any laws that give government the power to make decisions about the male body?" during his Supreme Court confirmation hearing in 2018...

...despite VERY clearly stating the question...TWICE:

3.Similarly, when Harris had former Attorney General William Barr stammering when questioning him about the Mueller Report:

4.When Harris, fed up with Gina Haspel's (then-nominee for CIA director) refusal to answer whether the interrogation tactics committed by the CIA post 9/11 were immoral — which reportedly included acts of torture like waterboarding, confinement, exposure to extreme temperatures, sleep deprivation, and forced rectal infusions — put her finger to her head, exasperated, and asked, "Could you please answer the question?"

5.That time in 2020 when Republican Senator John Cornyn seemingly tried to embarrass Kamala Harris on the Senate floor...and she was having NONE OF THAT:

You can still feel the silence in that room four years later.

6.In 2017, when senators tried to quiet Harris from questioning former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein over whether he would sign a letter to give Special Counsel Robert Mueller full independence from the Justice Department, but she didn't back down:

7.And lastly, also in 2017, when former Attorney General Jeff Sessions told Harris her rapid questioning was making him “nervous” at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing:

Anyway, with these old clips resurfacing and going viral (this video posted three days ago has nearly 7 million views and 1 million likes on TikTok), Harris supporters are pretty pumped to see her debate:
