Crime - BritBox
Author Irvine Welsh branches out into TV adaptations after some huge successes with his books being made into films - notably, Trainspotting and Filth.
Crime stars Dougray Scott as DI Ray Lennox who is struggling to recover from a recent child murder case which is still haunting him.
Fans of the book will be familiar with Lennox reflecting on the case from his holiday in Miami, but the TV series reangles the tale by showing what actually happened during the investigation in Edinburgh.
Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker - Channel 4 - 8pm
The latest TV contest from the same stable as Bake Off pits woodworkers against each other in a familiar format of weekly challenges.
In tonight's semi-final, the four remaining contestants turn their hand to period drinks cabinets before host Mel Giedroyc announces who's made it to the final.
Sort Your Life Out - BBC One - 8pm
Stacey Solomon presents this home organisation show that challenges people to reduce their belongings by half through recycling, donating and selling.
Tonight's family features a keen car booter, his wife and their son who's too embarrassed to invite friends home to the clutter, which includes 81 fondue forks.

She's the most famous Bake Off winner and Nadiya Hussain has proved her skills aren't confined to cakes with a number of recipe books and shows to her name.
