Sometimes the adults need a place to get away without the kids and that's completely understandable. Located in Riviera Maya, this all-inclusive beachfront resort is adults-only and high on luxury. You'll have access to a world-class spa where you can make an appointment for a massage, facial or a plethora of other services.

Newman is fond of the dining options available on the property which can sometimes be a miss with all-inclusive resorts.

"There are five places to dine, all of which strive to use local ingredients," she tells Parade. "For those who indulge too late with the mixologist, this resort just makes everything available and easy, including 24-hour room service."

This resort also has a variety of activities available to occupy your time while on vacation including chocolate-tasting classes and yoga for instance which are ways to further personalize your stay to get the most out of your time in Mexico.

Newman also suggests booking a stay at Le Blanc Spa Resort in Los Cabos. This is another great pick for adults and couples seeking a luxury stay.

"Personalized butler service, swim-up bars, top shelf spirits, hydrotherapy and 24-hour room service are just a few interesting perks at this beachfront oasis," she explains.

For those eco-conscious travelers, Le Blanc works to be sustainable in ways modern travelers may appreciate too.

"Digital check-in, eco-friendly bath products, fostering local sea turtles and organic products from local, sustainable purveyors are a few things you may recognize," Newman tells Parade.

In terms of food, you'll find a variety of restaurants including Lumiere, Bella, Habibi, Ocean, Yama, Blanc Pizza, Blan and K'akau—all of which have extensive menus suitable for whatever you're craving, whether that's Italian or French cuisine.

For families, Newman recommends the Royalton Riviera Cancun which is an Autograph Collection property that's only a 15-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport.

"This all-inclusive is family-friendly and luxurious with reservation-free dining, a splash park and a kids club with organized activities," she explains. "Accommodations are well thought out with suites offering private outdoor space through balconies and terraces, bathroom amenities like rain showers, swim-up suite options and ocean views."

One of Newman's favorite elements of this all-inclusive resort in Mexico is its dining offerings.

"Dine beach-side outdoors, hit the abundant buffet, try Asian, Caribbean or Italian flavors, as you choose from a variety of restaurants and bars," Newman suggests. "There’s even a Hibachi restaurant for families whose kids love interactive dining experiences."

4. Hotel RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas

Hotel Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas is another great spot for families and a more budget-friendly all-inclusive resort you can book.

"It's complete with a location that’s easily accessible to downtown and nearby attractions and a brimming buffet and water park that kids love," Newmans says.

There are a lot of options for accommodations here with more than 600 rooms, including popular swim-up suites and rooms with sea views. Plus, there are also plenty of restaurants including a steakhouse, Japanese and Indian-themed picks and options for vegetarians and those with special diets.

Although not included, Cabo is known for its whale watching and water activities, excursions that are not included, but Newman highly recommends splurging to create those memories with your family.

"With just 57 rooms and suites, this all-inclusive in Cabo offers guests flexibility, like no-reservation dining, in-suite minibars and expansive rooms," Newman explains.

Speaking of rooms, the rooms have a Spanish-style design and accommodations are modern, clean and bright with thoughtful local art, aromatherapy pillows, Nespresso coffee makers and oceanfront views.
