Three Celebs Have Called Out Christina Aguilera's Alleged Bad Attitude, And 20 Other Celebs Who Are Reportedly Rude IRL
We'd like to imagine that all of our fave celebs are kind and lovely people, but sadly, that's not always the case. Of course, everybody has bad days, but sometimes, celebs' rude behavior leaves their peers with a bad impression.
Here are 23 times celebs name-dropped other celebs who were allegedly rude to them:
1.In 2015, Ronda Rousey told Cosmopolitan, "Justin Bieber was actually really rude to my little sister at the Cannes Film Festival. My little sister's very hard to impress, so she really didn't care about anybody that was at the Cannes Film Festival, but, you know, I wanted to spend some time with her. Justin Bieber was over there taking some pictures with some ladies, and she suddenly got really excited. She's like, 'Do you think he would wanna take a picture with me? Do you think he'd want to?' And I was like, 'Sure, Julie, don't worry about it. Everybody's taking pictures today. You don't feel bad at all, you know. That's why everybody's here, you know.' She's like, 'Are you sure?' I'm like, 'Yeah, don't worry about it. Look at him. He's a sweetheart.'"

She continued, "I walk over there. I said, 'Excuse me,' and he turned to me [and] goes, 'I've already taken a billion pictures today, okay?' And I said, 'Yeah, but,' 'cause it's the only 16-year-old girl at the whole party, you know. I only got, 'Yeah, but,' out, and he goes, 'A billion!' and walks off and totally snubbed my little sister. And then she looks at me, and she's, like, on the the verge of tears. And she goes, 'I'm no longer a Belieber.'"
Justin apologized, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I guess, supposedly, she asked for a picture with her sister or something, and I guess I said no? But I don't remember this happening, so, Ronda, I'm sorry. Don't kick my ass!"
2.When JoJo Siwa shared a picture of her first car — a custom BMW convertible with a giant picture of her face on the hood — on Instagram in 2018, Justin Beiber commented, "Burn it." JoJo's mom, Jessalynn Siwa, replied, "burn your own things."
Justin later apologized, tweeting, "@itsjojosiwa I have nothing against you it was the car and the colors I didn't like I really hope you didn’t think it was malicious or mean spirited." JoJo used the interaction as an opportunity to ask Justin to play at her Sweet Sixteen. On Twitter, she said, "it's all good bro! you can perform at my 16th birthday party and we'll call it good!"
In 2019, she doubled down on her request on The Tonight Show.
3.In a 2022 TikTok video, JoJo Siwa flashed a picture of the the "rudest celebrity" she's ever met — Candace Cameron Bure.
You can watch JoJo's TikTok here.
In an Instagram video, Candace said she was "shocked" to see JoJo's TikTok.
She said that she apologized to JoJo, who purpotedly told her, "Yeah, you weren't even mean, and I get it now as an adult — when you're on the red carpet and everything's happening and you're being pulled in different directions. But at that time, I was 11."
Candace said, "I told JoJo how much I've always appreciated her because she has been a good role model because of her positivity throughout her whole life and career. She said she still loves watching Full House and watches it to fall asleep, and it's a comfort show for her, so we had all the feels, and it was all good, and there's no drama."
Then, JoJo told Page Six, "I had a rough experience when I was little. I was 11, and I was a big, big fan, and I wanted to take a picture with her, and it wasn't a good time for her. I will say because I had a bad experience, that doesn't mean that she is an awful human. I think it just was an inconvenient time for her, and little 11-year-old me was just so pumped up and so excited, but that doesn't mean she's the worst human ever."

4.In a 2024 TikTok video from a "Yours Cruelly, Elvira Xxperience" event, Elvira said that her "shadiest" celebrity encounter was with Ariana Grande during a performance. She said, "She comes backstage and she asks if I could take pictures with all of her friends and relatives she brought. I take a picture with every single one of them. I sign autographs for every single one of them. Then I say to her, 'Can we take a photo together?' She goes, 'Nah, I don't really do that.'"

In Elvira's Instagram comments, Ariana posted an apology.
5.Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show in 2023, Jane Fonda called out her Monster-in-Law costar Jennifer Lopez for allegedly injuring her during a scene. Jane said, "The thing that comes to mind right away is that we have a slapping scene. I slap her. She slaps me. Jennifer — as per Jennifer — she had this enormous diamond ring. When she slapped me, it cut open across my eyebrow. You know, she's never apologized."
Here's the scene Jane was referring to:
Previously, in a 2019 YouTube video, Jennifer alleged that she did apologize, and Jane told her it was "fine."
Jennifer said, "We talked about how we were gonna do this [scene] over and over again. I was so afraid to hit Jane Fonda in the face or hurt her in any way. And really, her character was very much like her, and my character at the time was very much like me. I was so afraid of her, and she was so brazen, and like, 'Just hit me! Don't worry about it! It's gonna be fine!' I was like, 'No, I don't wanna hurt you!' And she was like, 'Let's just go! Just got for it!'
And so, I was like, 'I'm gonna poke you,' and I do, like this little poke. And she kinda hits me back, and then she pokes me back. And then the next thing you know, she really went for it on one of those slaps...We said, 'Let's just keep slapping each other until we stop.' The scene took on a life of its own in a way that we never imagined. I don't even think we were supposed to slap each other.
I just remember afterwards, Jane had a blood blister at the top of her eye. My nail, like, went up into her eye. I was mortified. I was mortified. I was like, 'Oh my God, I'm so sorry.' And she was like, 'It's fine. It's fine..." And she didn't care. She's such a gangster bitch. I just love her."
6.In 2014, Mean Girls actor Daniel Franzese told Yahoo Entertainment, "It's actually funny because I met Christina Aguilera, and I thought for sure that would be an exciting moment in my life. And I was like, 'Christina, my name's Daniel. I sing 'Beautiful' in Mean Girls. And she was like, 'Never saw it.' And then turned her back and walked away. She was so rude."

7.In a past radio interview, Mary J. Blige also called out Christina Aguilera for how she treated her the first time they met. She said, "I don't like her because she has a nasty attitude. I was trying to greet her properly, and she stuck her hand out for me to kiss it. I said, 'Oh, okay. You're headed down the wrong path already. Britney Spears can't sing like you, but she will go farther than you because she knows how to respect and treat her people, from fans to supporters.' ...It was early in the morning, so I was like, 'Girl, I'll shake [your hand]...She was just nasty. She was very nasty, and that's not the first time I heard that. I heard that from a couple people. I'm just putting it out there because, you know, later on, I don't wanna hear anything about, 'she wanna do a song with me,' because first impression is the last impression with me."
8.After meeting Boy George, at the 2011 BRIT Awards, Avril Lavinge told an interviewer, "He was super nice to us! Unlike, Christina Aguilera, who was really mean to me when I said hi to her. I swear to God, I said to my friends, 'You know what, I'm gonna go over to Boy George, and hopefully he won't pull a Christina on me.' And you know what, I was pleasantly surprised." Avril said she and Christina shared a label and a manager, and she was shy when she introduced herself, but Christina was allegedly somewhat dismissive.

9.Per Us Weekly, in her 2016 book Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins, Kathy Griffin wrote, "You'll never convince me to like Jon Hamm. The vibe I've always gotten from him is cold and somewhat disrespectful … toward me. I'm suggesting he's one of these hot guys who's mildly funny but actually thinks he's comedian-level funny." She also wrote about an alleged rude comment he made to her at a dinner party. She said, "So when Hammy showed up, too, inside I thought, 'Oh great.' He even said to me, 'What are you doing here?' I said, 'I earned my seat at the table. What are you doing here?'"
She wrote that, when she finally got a chance to talk to Jack Nicholson, "Hammy picks that moment … to start whispering boozy yammering into my ear. First it was, 'You know your Emmy isn't a real Emmy.' I let that one go, but then he whispered, 'You're so o-o-o-old.' Look, I've been told I'm old and not funny by a lot of guys — a lot of hot guys, too — but not when I'm in an intimate conversation space with frickin' Jack Nicholson, an opportunity I figured I'd never get again; that's the real reason I can't stand Hammy. The double whammy of cruel but not playful comments and the horrible timing. Again, he's not a comedian, folks. Hopefully done with the drink, but probably still Don Draper-y."
Jon Hamm has not publicly responded to Kathy's claims.
10.Per Us Weekly, in Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins, Kathy Griffin also alleged that Ashton Kutcher was rude to her when they hosted a charity event together. She wrote, "At least three separate times, we were standing in the wings, waiting to go out and present, and I'd say something like, 'Hey, what if, when we go out, we do this … ,' and suggest something, and he'd just ignore me. If he said five words to me the whole day, I'd be surprised. It was bizarre and rude and made me feel as if he thought I was beneath him, someone not worth talking to in the slightest." She also claimed that, three years later, they ran into each other at a local Mexican restaurant, but he ignored her. She wrote, "If you won't say hi to me in the Mexican takeout joint, you're a d-bag."
Kathy also alleged that Ashton was rude to her at a party when she was mid-conversation with Diddy. She wrote, "Kutcher stepped directly in front of me and started talking to Diddy as if I wasn't even there. So that's three incidents. Do I loathe him? No. He's just someone who's made it perfectly clear to me that I have absolutely nothing to offer him during his precious time on earth."
Ashton Kutcher has not publicly responded to her claims.
11.Playing a game of "Stir the Pot" alongside her daughter on E! News in 2023, Sharon Osbourne shared that Ashton Kutcher is the rudest celebrity she's ever met.
Here's the full clip, with this part starting at the 1:15 mark:
Back in 2018, Sharon told Larry King Now, "I didn't get on with [Ashton] at all [on The Talk]...Bad attitude for me, for me, 'cause I got his name wrong. He was pissed! And he comes on with an attitude, and he goes, ‘What have you done in this industry?’ And I was like, 'Kid, don't start with me. 'Cause I'm gonna eat you up and shit you out.' I was just like, 'You don't know what you're dealing with, kid.'"
12.In a 2022 TikTok, Spencer Pratt named Lisa Kudrow as the rudest celebrity he's met.

In a follow-up video, he explained, "The year was 2009. Heidi [Montag, his wife] and I were invited to our first real A-list party by the president of NBC. It was clear when we got there, no one wanted us there. It was almost like we were filming for Punk'd and a camera was going to pop up, but Heidi and I didn't care. There was delicious food, open bar, and beautiful views of the Malibu ocean. "As we were sitting there consuming a little caviar, Phoebe [Lisa Kudrow] approaches — which was a little shocking, as no one had spoken to us at all at the party...Right in front of me, she tells Heidi that she needs to get away from me as fast as possible because I'm going to murder Heidi, and that I have the eyes of a serial killer. Heidi waits to see if this is a joke — maybe this is a bit, maybe this is a hidden camera party. No laughs — she just walks away."

"And that right there is the rudest moment I've ever encountered with a human being," he said.
13.Appearing on Joey Graceffa's "Spill or Spew" YouTube series in 2024, YouTuber/actor/podcaster Rosanna Pansino shared her alleged "bad" experience with Sylvester Stallone. She said, "This was years ago. This was before YouTube. It's when I went on that reality show, Scream Queens, produced by Lionsgate. [As] part of our contract with Lionsgate, we had to go to all these, like, events. Like, press events in our contract if we were local. So, we went to the Expendables premiere. They had us go there, and then we had to stay in this little VIP area for X amount of hours. That was our press gig. So we went there, and I was so excited. I was hoping I'd bump into him because it's Rocky! My whole Italian family loves Rocky...And I was just, like, beaming."
She continued, "And this is where I learned if you meet your heroes, then it's not always what you think it is...So we're in the lounge area. They've got a buffet bar — refillable, let me just remind everybody, refillable. Yeah, and little bar. Little cabanas. I see food, so I'm there. I'm a foodie. I'm hungry. I go straight for the food. I get myself a little mini slider. It's literally, you know, my size. So I go sit down, and I wanna eat it right away. I have it like this, about to eat it, and his publicist — this woman comes over and was like, 'Excuse me, but my client has a really strict eating schedule, and he's going to need that slider.' While I'm about to eat it! It's in my hand! I thought I was on one of those Punk'd shows, 'cause I had never been to a press event before..."
"Sylvester Stallone is literally ten feet away from me going like this, crossing his arms and being like this. Mugging me. Like, intimidating. Like, 'Give me that slider.' So, I just took a bite," she said.
"Yeah, and I was like, 'No.' ...I just wanna know what kind of man steals food off a little woman's plate...Four minutes later, they restocked all the mini sliders...He did not get my slider, and first off, how rude! Okay, that's just...He was such a jerk to me the rest of the night. He tried to get me kicked out of the event," Rosanna alleged.

20.In 2024, Sarah Paulson told the Smartless podcast, "The last time I was on stage, I did a play called Talley's Folly at the Roundabout and the actress — and I'm going to say this, and I'm not going to ask you to cut this out, because I don't fucking care — this actress came to the play. Her name is Trish Hawkins [who originated Sally Talley, Sarah's role, in 1979] — Hi, Trish! Hi, Trisha! — Trish Hawkins came to the play. Am I going to get sued? I don't care because I think this is outrageous...[Backstage] she looked at me up and down, and then she went, 'Your dress is yellow. Mine was pink.' And I thought, 'What?' [A few days later] I got an email that was six pages long of notes and a communication to me about what she had done when she had done the play, what she recommended I do. It was outrageous."

"It was really outrageous...Trish Hawkins, I have not forgotten it, and I hope to see you never," she said.
21.Per E! News, in the 90s, Cher reportedly told CBS's Steve Kmetko, "There are lots of things that I respect about [Madonna]. I think that she knows how to work the business like nobody I've ever seen before...[But] there's something about her that I don't like. She's...mean. I don't like that. I remember having her over to my house a couple of times, because [Madonna's ex-husband Sean Penn] and I were friends, and she just was so rude to everybody. It seems to me that she's got so much that she doesn't have to act that way. She acts like a spoiled brat all the time. And it seems to me when you reach the kind of acclaim that she's reached — and you can do whatever you want to do — you should be a little bit more magnanimous, and little bit less of a cunt."
The two singers have a longstanding fued.
During a 2013 Reddit AMA, Cher said, "I never hated her, I just thought she was a bitch. Actually I quite respect her. Actually I think Madge might be one of the most amazing artists I've known. I don't like everything she does, for sure, but she is always riding the crest of the wave. She always saw trends WAY before anyone else, and had great videos."
22.During an onstage interview at the 2012 Montclair Film Festival, Jon Stewart said that Hugh Grant was his worst The Daily Show guest because of his constant complaining. He said, "He's giving everyone shit the whole time, and he's a big pain in the ass." Jon also said that Hugh complained about the clip his publicist chose to promote the movie Did You Hear About the Morgans?, calling it "a terrible clip." Jon felt Hugh should "make a better fucking movie" and said he'd "never" have the actor on his show again.
In response, Hugh tweeted, "Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09. Unforgivable. J Stewart correct to give me kicking."
23.And finally, on a 2023 episode of her podcast Bitch Sesh, Casey Wilson said that her The Santa Clauses costar Tim Allen was "such a bitch" to work with. She also said it was the "worst, truly single worst experience [she's] ever had with a costar ever." She said, "[In our scene] I'm supposed to throw things at him. He's coming down the chimney, obviously as Santa. And I am woken up thinking there's an intruder — basically like a home invasion scene...I basically hear him — he goes, 'You gotta tell her to stop stepping on my lines.' The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me, and he goes, 'Tim would ask that you stopped stepping on his lines.'"
She also alleged he was "so fucking rude" to her post-filming and "never made eye contact, never said anything."
