2025 Critics Choice Awards Nominations: “Wicked” and “Conclave” Lead Film Nominees

The critics are having their say on the best movies of the year.

On Thursday, Dec. 12, the movie nominations for the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards were unveiled. Conclave and Wicked lead among all movies nominated for this year's Critics Choice Awards, with both movies each receiving 11 nominations. Dune: Part Two and Emilia Perez each received 10 nominations, and each of those four movies are among the awards show's race for best picture alongside A Complete Unknown, Anora, The Brutalist, Nickel Boys, Sing Sing and The Substance.

The Critics Choice Association previously unveiled its television nominees on Dec. 5, with FX's Shōgun leading with six total nominations. Abbott Elementary, Disclaimer, Hacks, The Diplomat, The Penguin and What We Do in the Shadows followed with four nominations each.

The 2025 Critics Choice Awards gala, hosted by Chelsea Handler, will broadcast live on E! on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. ET from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The show will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
