Calling all brides-to-be and their besties: Once the question is popped and the wedding date is set, it's time to spring into action and research bachelorette destinations. And you've come to the right place.
The Good Housekeeping team explores the world for its annual Travel Awards, evaluating the appeal of destinations (and products) for all kinds of vacationers. We considered lodging options, Insta-worthy spaces, nightlife, special experiences, value and more when compiling our list of the top 24 bachelorette destinations around the world.
Spoiler: Some picks are old favorites (viva Las Vegas!) while other spots have only recently gotten buzzy for brides-to-be and their squad (here's looking at you Aspen). "International destinations have also become more popular for bachelorettes," adds Claire Herzog, a travel advisor for Fora, so, if everyone has up-to-date passports, the world can be your oyster even on a budget!
Once you have the bachelorette vibe in mind, create a plan. Destinations near a major airport (or two!) tend to have cheaper flights. "You can also take advantage of shoulder season deals," says Herzog. For instance, Aspen is pricy in the winter months, but go there in May and it'll be a third to half of the price.
Wherever you land, cheers to the most memorable weekend ever!
Miami, Florida
Play: If there’s one city that knows how to have a good time, it’s Miami. Spend your days lounging in the sun, sipping a mojito and swimming in the pristine waters of Miami Beach. Once the sun sets, head to South Beach for dinner with a Latin twist and a bustling party scene that will have you dancing all night long.
Stay: The Andaz Miami Beach, which will open on March 5, has a glam art deco vibe that will appeal to many brides-to-be. The Betsy South Beach, with a Classic Double Suite that sleeps five guests, also has dreamy decor, live jazz at its piano bar and dining spots for foodies.

Nashville, Tennessee
Play: We love Nashville’s energy, cuisine (did someone say BBQ?) and live music that draws crowds year-round. Grab your cowboy boots and hats and head to the nearest honky-tonk in "Nashvegas." If you’re feeling extra adventurous, consider surprising the bride by renting a party tractor, fire engine or bus that will take you around town (trust us, she'll love it). "There is a very lively bar and music scene that feels super festive for a celebratory trip; and many of the restaurants and bars are designed for bigger groups, so it's much easier to coordinate and plan for this type of trip!" says Herzog.
Stay: The hotel scene is booming in Nashville. You could stay an old favorite, the Holston House, for a boutique hotel experience that's walking distance from the popular bars on Broadway. Our top newer pick for the bridal party who loves Dolly or Barbie is Graduate Hotel Nashville. "Its playful pink bar and karaoke experience give sorority sister vibes," says a Good Housekeeping editor.
Tulum, Mexico
Play: Our editors adore Tulum for its impressive culinary scene, lively nightlife and boutique shopping. Not only are there miles of unspoiled beach but you’ll find tons of stunning hotels and restaurants. Plus, you have hundreds of options for excursions in the area, from snorkeling to visiting a local cenote, checking out Mayan ruins, and more.
Stay: To be closer to the Cancun airport and even more bars and restaurants, consider booking a hotel a bit further north in Playa del Carmen. Our editors love the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen Resort for its beachfront views and stunning infinity pools that line the property. "Nestled in between the beach and the city, the Grand Hyatt is in the perfect location," said a Good Housekeeping staffer who recently visited. "The adult pools are next to the beach, so you get a great view of the ocean no matter where you're relaxing. But if at any point, you decide you want to venture into the city, it's really just a block away! We couldn't believe how convenient the location was!"
Napa Valley, California
Play: Spend a weekend with your girlfriends sipping some of the best wine California has to offer. From world-class tasting rooms to adorable boutiques, luxurious hotels and delicious restaurants, it'll be impossible to have a bad time. Hop on the Napa Valley Wine Train for picturesque views and a convenient way to explore multiple wineries in a day.

New York City, New York
Play: The city that never sleeps is made for big, bold bashes (trust, our team lives and works there). Take in a Broadway show (& Juliet is a prime pick for a bachelorette group!), eat your way through Chelsea Market, stroll Central Park and pop in the nearby Metropolitan Museum of Art. "Eat at a classic like Balthazar or Minetta Tavern or splurge at the Polo Bar,” advises a Good Housekeeping editor. "Bad Roman and Carbone are other buzzy choices and the new restaurant Zimmi's is fantastic!" She added, "The Sex and the City Hotspots Tour could also be fun for bachelorette groups!"
Stay: If you all want to be in the same suite, think about places like Mint House in the Financial District or Club Wyndham Midtown with 2 bedroom suites that sleep up to six. (These larger spaces are harder to come by in Manhattan than in some other cities.) For a more luxurious spot where you can book multiple rooms. The Pendry Manhattan West is chic and convenient.
Reykjavik, Iceland
Play: For bridal parties looking for a bit of adventure, a quick flight to Reykjavik, Iceland, from NYC takes about six hours and is well worth it for the jaw-dropping natural wonders you’ll find when you land, like fjords, glaciers, and (if you're lucky) the Northern Lights. Just make sure to dedicate a day to the Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa with hot pools, where you can relax before having to head back home. Surprise the bride with tickets to Magic Mike Live or another show, and dance the night away at one of Vegas’s many nightclubs.
Stay: If you're planning a Vegas bachelorette in 2026, look into MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, which will be fresh from its glow-up. For a quirkier pick, consider the "Bunk Pads"—featuring vintage-style bunk beds and a wet bar—at the Circa Las Vegas.

Devote some time to exploring colorful and cheerful Old Town and don't miss the stunning views from El Morro Castle. Make sure to bike through Lincoln Park and spend some time relaxing on Chicago's beaches (the water isn't that cold, we promise!). In the evening, check out a comedy show or see some jazz at an iconic venue.
Stay: The Viceroy Chicago, on the city's "Gold Coast," is a style icon. "The hotel room was incredible," says a Good Housekeeping editor who visited last summer.
