2 Arrested After Raid Yields Cocaine and Guns at Delaware Home Daycare

Two arrests were made in Delaware last week following the recovery of drugs, including cocaine and heroin, and guns allegedly inside a home daycare.
On Jan. 11, Cameron Christmas, 33, and Jessica Cooper, 29, were arrested on drug and firearm charges after a search warrant was executed that day at The Little Peoples LFCC 2 daycare in Dover, according to a press release shared by the Dover Police Department.
The raid allegedly yielded two handguns, 302 bags of heroin, three ounces of cocaine, 26 grams of crack cocaine, and about $32,000 in cash, police said.
According to police, four children were at the daycare when the search warrant was executed, and they were later returned to their guardians.

The pair, who police say operated the home daycare, were subsequently arrested and processed by Dover police. Both suspects face a slew of charges including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm, and endangering the welfare of a child.
It’s unclear if the suspects have entered a plea or retained an attorney to speak on their behalf.
