Kate Moss's Little Sister Makes Her Modelling Debut

Lottie Moss in Teen Vogue

One of the most buzzed-about moments at Kate Moss‘s 2011 wedding — aside from the dress and the three-day reception — was her half-sister Lottie’s public debut (she’s the tallest flower girl in this photo). Though only 13, she bore a strong enough resemblance to her famous older sister that people immediately started rumors about a possible modeling career.

Well, the time has come! Now 16, Lottie is making her first official appearance as a model in Teen Vogue‘s April issue, wearing Moss-favorite designers like Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Topshop. And no one is more excited than she is; until now, her parents have turned down all modelling requests so she can focus on her studies. “Teen Vogue is my first proper job! I’d really like to work at Teen Vogue,” she says, though admitting part of that could be her affinity for old episodes of The Hills.

And while her prize possession is the Stella McCartney dress she wore in Moss’s wedding, she is keeping her designer lust in check for the moment: “My dream would be to have all [Christian Louboutin] shoes, but I can’t afford any because I don’t have a job, and I can’t make my parents pay for that.” In the meantime, she gets clothes at Selfridge’s and her favorite accessory, scrunchies, at River Island.

Like any teen she has her musical obsessions (Justin Bieber) and moments of self-doubt (at 5-ft. 5-in., she thinks she’s too short for the runway), and like any teen she looks up to her big sister for inspiration. When asked why she wanted to model, she says, “Well, it kind of runs in the family. Kate was a massive part of why I started.”

We can’t wait to see where it takes her! What do you think of Lottie’s modeling debut? Think we should push for a sister act?
