The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed her baby bump properly for the first time in a public appearance at Windsor Castle over the weekend.

Duchess Kate - who is due to give birth to her first child in July - glowed as she congratulated award-winning scouts for the National Review of the Queen's Scouts in place of the Queen while she was celebrating her 87th birthday.

The Duchess of Cambridge spoke to 400 Scouts and honoured selected young people for regular community service, taking part in a residential project, and those who completed a four day expedition in unknown terrain.

Clearly revealing her growing bump for the first time after months of her belly seeming almost non-existant in photos, Kate shone in a fitted but loose Mulberry coat to accommodate her blossoming pregnancy figure, along with a pillbox hat and those nude LK Bennett pump heels the Duchess has become so infamous for wearing regularly.

As Kate told the Queen's Scouts to "keep up the good work", Chief Scout Bear Grylls said of the pregnant royal:

"The Duchess is an incredible role model and helps us show that Scouting’s not just for boys."
