EXCLUSIVE PICS: LISA MCCUNE FLAUNTS HER NEW LOVE

TV favourite Lisa McCune’s love life continues to raise eyebrows, with the actress last week parading her ongoing affection with her husband – while publicly kissing up a storm with her co-star lover. Just days after snaps emerged of the star in a clinch with father-of-one and South Pacific co-star Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Lisa returned home to a husband Tim Disney and their kids Archer, 11, Oliver, eight, and Remy, seven. But last week she was snapped again publicly kissing Teddy, 46. Lisa’s love life is certainly proving to be more dramatic than any TV script!

SUSAN’S BOLD MOVE: ‘I QUIT TOO!’

Long-running television soap The Bold and the Beautiful has been thrown into chaos, with veteran star Susan Flannery – who’s played matriarch Stephanie Forrester for 25 years – handing in her notice. The shocking news comes little more than a week after fellow long-time cast member Ronn Moss, who plays her son Ridge, also suddenly quit. The crippling exodus of two of the show’s anchor characters comes amid a growing crisis for producers, with reported backstage rows over salary cuts and growing disenchantment over the soap’s direction.

CAMILLA VS KATE: PALACE UP IN ARMS

Urged on by his wife Camilla, Prince Charles has dramatically stepped in to block William and Kate from visiting Australia, as the older couple double their efforts to prevent their younger rivals from stealing their thunder – and maybe even the throne. ‘Charles felt he was top dog so it had to be him and Camilla. They resent all the coverage Kate and William receive and feel their hard work isn’t recognised,’ reveals a royal insider to New Idea.

According to research, eating disorders in older women have leApt by 42 per cent in the past 11 years and an estimated 10 to 15 per cent of people with anorexia or bulimia are male. To mark this week’s National Body Image and Eating Disorders Awareness Week, New Idea speaks with 19-year-old Chris Glover, mum-of-four Bek Couper and Amanda Webster – three brave Aussies who share their experience and family battle with the deadly disorder. ‘Doctors told me I was as sick as a terminal cancer patient and if I didn’t do something fast, I would be dead within a week,’ says Chris to New Idea.
