Model and 'it' girl of the moment, Cara Delevingne, is the star of Saint Laurent's autumn/winter 2013 campaign.

The 20-year old appears alongside DIIV front man Zachary Cole Smith in the series of images shot in California, with the pair seen lounging on pillows and pouting at the camera.

Saint Laurent's now signature downtown grunge style is evident throughout the campaign, with Delevigne showing off ripped skinny jeans, studded ankle boots and an array of textured coats.

The brand's new creative director, Hedi Slimane, may have endured an onslaught of criticism since he took over the reigns at Saint Laurent last year, but he's consistently delivered sell-out collections.

Since the launch of his "Music Project" campaign, which saw the likes of Daft Punk, Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love posing for the iconic brand, Slimane has firmly secured a niche within the industry.

"That star-patterned furry jacket may have been scoffed at by critics when it appeared on the runway, but it looks right at home on Cara as she turns away from the open window," commented NYMag.com. "It's easy to see why these clothes are being snapped up by buyers."
