After a lavish four day wedding in Venice, Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney are officially man and wife.
The human rights lawyer and the Hollywood actor tied the knot on Saturday evening in front of guests including Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford, but it wasn't until this morning they were able to make things official under Italian law.
The duo took a boat across the harbour to Venice's Palazzo Ca' Loredan, an official council building where a civil ceremony was conducted in accordance with Italy's laws.
Alamuddin, who's been wowing the press with her impeccable outfits (we particularly loved the Giambattista Valli design she wore yesterday), chose to wear an elegant ivory pantsuit to marry in for the second time, finishing her outfit with a matching wide-brimmed hat.
According to US magazine, Clooney's friend, former Rome Mayor Walter Veltroni, performed the civil ceremony, while Clooney's favourite taxi driver Alessandro Greco, who was invited to the wedding, was an official witness.
