Leighton Meester Announced As Face of Vera Wang Fragrance

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is the latest celebrity to secure a fragrance deal, having reportedly signed a $3 million contract with Vera Wang perfumes.

The campaign was shot over the weekend in New York City by famed photographer Carter Smith, with the fragrance slated to hit department stores internationally from mid 2011.

Vera Wang told WWD she believe's Meester's "beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance."

Meester is also the face of Clairol Herbal Essences.
