TOME Designers Chat To Nikki Phillips About Their Pre-Show Rituals

TOME designers Ryan Lobo and Ramon Martin have revealed their pre-show ritual and it's exactly what you would expect.

The duo, who showcased their 'see, buy, wear' Nina Simone inspired collection at MBFWA spoke to Yahoo7 Lifestyle guest editor Nikki Phillips about their inspiration for the brand, how long it took to come to life and what they ate before their show.

"You don’t sleep the night before a show that’s the ritual," Martin told Nikki backstage before the show.

“We’re healthy, we try and drink lots of water , make sure we’re eating breakfast, you know cereal and that to keep you going."

The New York based pair, who both hail from Australia, also spoke about their love for their home country and why it's so important to show their designs here.

“We’re Australian and we’re from here and so it’s nice always to return home and us doing a ‘see, buy wear’ collection I think it’s a really exciting time,” Lobo said.
