Studies done by academics at the University of South Australia a few years ago suggested that the likelihood of a woman having Barbie’s body shape is one in 100,000, according to BBC News.

Rumors on the Internet are circulating that that one may have been found.

Valeria Lukyanova, a 21-year old Ukrainian model, has her own blog, Tumblr, Facebook and VK.com account featuring thousands of photos where she looks pretty similar to a real-life Barbie doll.

Her long, straight blonde hair, flawless skin, wide-eyed look and heart-shaped mouth bear a striking resemblance to the popular toy from Mattel.

Adding to the similarities, Valeria also has a tiny waist and large breasts. The photos of her body proportions as well as photos with lots of makeup have prompted some people to question whether or not Photoshop has been involved.

Despite the many people questioning her authenticity, she is claiming to be the most famed woman on the Russian-language Internet.

On her blog and Facebook page she writes about making music and studying meditation. She has also posted a few more ‘natural’ looking photos and a video of her without makeup, prompting some skeptics to believe she may actually look that way.

Some websites claim she has had surgery to become a Barbie clone and there is a spoof video on YouTube with strange Sims animations depicting the many supposed surgeries Valeria has had.

Valeria isn’t the only woman trying to find fame on the Internet by becoming a Barbie lookalike.

Dakota Rose in the United States, also known as Kota Koti, has a YouTube following for her fashion and beauty tutorials. She also plays up her big doe-eyes and porcelain complexion that have made her especially popular across Asia.

In London, Venus Palermo, also known as Venus Angelic, also bears a striking resemblance to a doll and dresses herself up to look like a Japanese anime character.

Valeria has 155 subscribers following her profile on Facebook and is apparently seeking out more followers in France and elsewhere in Europe.
