Amy Schumer, 43, Recalls Recent Awkward Encounter with Bradley Cooper When He Asked If She Was 50
"I'm not, Bradley ... but thank you for thinking of me," the 'Kinda Pregnant' star joked of her encounter with Cooper
Amy Schumer is in no huge hurry to be ushered out of her 40s.
The Kinda Pregnant star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday, Jan. 28, where she recalled a recent awkward encounter with Bradley Cooper, who turned 50 on Jan. 5.
"He said, 'You know, I turned 50 this year,' " said Schumer. "And he goes, 'You 50?' "
After revealing to Cooper that she was 43, she told host Jimmy Fallon that she attempted to "recover" from the question.
'Cause whatever, I'm 43, but you know, I'm like, 'I will be 50,' " Schumer said. "But I'm not 50 yet."

" 'You 50?' 'Yeah, no, I'm not, Bradley, you know. I'm not. But thank you for thinking of me,' " she said as Fallon, who himself turned 50 last year, laughed along with the audience.
Schumer continued, "Look, we all wanna be hot. I'm sorry, we do. People go through a lot ... this is how bad people want to be hot: People literally run. They run, Jimmy."
"They're riding a bike to nowhere to the Wicked soundtrack. It's pathetic!" she quipped.
In her new movie Kinda Pregnant, Schumer plays Lainy, a Brooklyn English teacher who, jealous of her best friend Kate’s (Jillian Bell) pregnancy, decides to wear a faux baby bump — then accidentally meets her dream man Josh (Will Forte) and gets caught up in furthering a growing lie.

Schumer told PEOPLE earlier this month surrounding its trailer release that Kinda Pregnant is "laugh-out-loud funny and relatable."
"Our society loves to make women feel like they are failing," she said. "This story shows women as human beings who are trying to make choices that are right for them and having fun together along the way."
And Forte, 54, is the "funniest person alive, and now people will see what a great romantic lead he is too," Schumer added.
Kinda Pregnant is on Netflix Feb. 5.
