Zendaya's Slinky White Halter Gown at 2024 Gotham Awards Is “Challengers-”Coded, Because of Course It Is
Zendaya's movie 'Challengers' is nominated for best feature
Zendaya stepped out in style for this year's Gotham Awards.
The actress kept it sleek and chic on the red carpet at the New York City event, where her movie Challengers is up for best feature.
Kicking off the holiday season with a bang, Zendaya, 28, brought out her tennis whites for the red carpet, wearing a halter-neck white sheath dress with an open back by Louis Vuitton.
She wore her hair in a simple ponytail and kept her accessories to a minimum, only wearing a couple rings.

For all of her major events, Zendaya has long worked with stylist Law Roach, who officially retired from styling last year but still works with the actress. He told PEOPLE in September that he could "never" pick a favorite look of hers because they're all just so good.
“I can’t say I have a favorite because they all mean so much,” said Roach, 46, at the Christian Cowan show on Sept. 8. “We’ve been together for over a decade, and we’ve just done so many looks.”
“There are some ones that are super special, but it’s like calling out your favorite child. You should never do that,” he further explained.

Roach also told PEOPLE that dressing all comes down to "confidence" rather than what exactly you're wearing.
“You can wear anything you want no matter your size, age, anything. It’s all about confidence,” he said.
Some of her iconic and confident looks came during her Challengers press tour, where she wore tennis-inspired looks, styled by Roach. She wore everything from tennis whites to tennis ball shoes.
While Zendaya and Roach have had plenty of memorable outfits together, some of the greatest have been Zendaya's Met Gala looks, including this year when she was co-chair. For fashion's biggest night, she wore not one, but two looks up the stairs at the Met Museum, styled by Roach.
For her first look, she rocked, a peacock-inspired gown by Maison Margiela’s John Galliano. The blue, black and green tulle dress featured berries and leaves, and she amped it up with goth-inspired makeup.
She did a quick change before the event started, switching into another Galliano look, this one crafted in 1996 while the designer was with Givenchy. This dress was a black off-the-shoulder corset gown with dramatic train, which she paired with a massive floral headpiece, nodding to the Garden of Time dress code.
