Yamaha: Daxton Bennick Forced to Miss SuperMotocross Finals Due to Illness
Earlier, Yamaha posted on Instagram that the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 rider Daxton Bennick will not be at the SuperMotocross World Championship three-round finals starting next weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway due to sickness.
The 18-year-old from North Carolina has shown potential throughout the year for his first full season, with his first 250SX Podium in Detroit, placing 3rd at the first 250SX East round for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. He would finish 9th in the series, with his second-best result coming for the Philadelphia round for 4th.
In the year's second half, the AMA Pro Motocross Championship series was not as high, had his best result coming at RedBud for round 6 with an overall 11th, and would finish out the summer for 17th O/A.

This is the second year Bennick will be sidelined for the 250SMX finals. Last year, he would have been placed in the LCQs for the three-round finals, qualifying 28th in points from his six-round pro debut in Pro Motocross, but he did not race any of the Finals.
For 2024, racing both Supercross and Pro Motocross, he is 14th in combined points for the first round next weekend in North Carolina.
