After an intense six weeks of competition in Oak Island, North Carolina, Battle on the Beach season four is officially over. We watched the three teams battle it out in their last competition and hold their breath as the judges tallied up the final scores before one lucky team left Oak Island $50,000 richer.

The final decision came down to which team increased their home's value by the highest percentage. The final appraisal numbers came out to 25.01%, 31.34%, and 47%—a pretty wide range. Taniya Nayak's team, Sam and Sean, boasted a 47% value increase, making them the official winners of Battle on the Beach season four!
Not only did Sam and Sean win the season and the $50,000 cash prize, Sam also announced another extra special reason to celebrate during the season four finale: she told Sean she is expecting a baby! Sam and Sean will welcome their second child with a Battle on the Beach win under their belt.
Sam took to Instagram, announcing their triumph and expressing her gratitude for all those that helped the team along the way. "WE DID IT!!! We cannot believe that we won’t @hgtv’s Battle on the Beach and raised our home value a whopping 47%! [...] We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you @hgtv for the opportunity to show we really do have what it takes to turn a house into a home! ❤️🎆," she wrote, also giving a shout out to the production team, their carpenter, their family support system and their mentor Taniya.
Fans and fellow Battle on the Beach stars jumped in the comments to congratulate Sam and Sean on their win and their pregnancy. "So proud of my team!!!
