Work less, do more

All of us are guilty. Sometime during the day, we decide to ignore our to-do list and email our mates about last night's Celebrity Apprentice. Or we stretch our legs by heading over to the office kitchen, where we proceed to bitch about how crap the air-conditioning is. Or we pause our looming project to get a Twitter fix.

While chilling on the company clock might seem like a working person's right, those mental breaks cost you. Kathleen Alessandro, president of the US National Association of Women Business Owners, estimates that one intrusion - from an email, phone call, text, IM or chitchat - occurs every seven minutes and lasts an average of five minutes. That means up to 68 disruptions a day. That's 340 minutes, or 5.6 hours, gone from every day. To help you make up for lost time, we've come up with 20 ways to avoid time-sucks so you can leave work - and get your life back.

I cannot be a full house wife because if my husband lost his job what happens to me and the children, that's why i work to support my husband. God said a woman shall be a help mate to the husband.

It has been proven that companies that hire more women than men actually make higher profits.

interesting, i work a job where i drill near 400 holes on a shift, on the next shift a female co worker takes over and drills bout 150 holes??? what is she doing the whole time? so when i come back in i have to pick up her slack aswell, not fair, so i questioned the boss as to this, she checked her computer history and scanning records and she has been on facebook and other sites all through her shift. Then i get asked to stay back and do overtime to cover her back log, when all ready travel an hour to work longer to get home due to traffic, then get to see my kids for 2-3 hours before they go to bed, not fair!!!! so work more and stop gossiping and looking at the internet. and she wonders why i've got 2 pay rises in 5 months and she has got nothing, finishing on time is important to me!!

There is not one thing in this article about 'working less' its all about being a drone and doing nothing but work. Just because you don't faff around all day, doesn't mean you get to leave the office any earlier. Very misleading, one-sided, unconvincing and, back to work ;)

What a sexist piece of s####. Men are the worst offenders. From texting girlfriends to reading online sexy magazines at work. C'mon both sides!
