The African Mango diet and the Garcinia cambogia diet associated with Women's Health magazine are scams

Dear reader,

The African Mango diet and the Garcinia cambogia diet seen advertised as endorsed by Women's Health magazine is a scam. Please be aware that Women's Health magazine does not endorse the African Mango diet, the Garcinia cambogia diet, nor the Acai Berry Diet or the Power Slim product which are also scams.

The scammers have stolen our intellectual property (name and logo) in an effort to deceive you into thinking that we endorse this product. We do not.

Our lawyers are taking all necessary steps to end this. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused you.

If you have lost money or not received goods you have paid for, you should call the ACCC’s Scamwatch Infocentre on 1300 795 995.

They also have a website with information on scams and a register - visit ScamWatch.

If you have paid by credit card, you should request a charge-back through your bank or credit union if there has been some sort of fraud involved. In some circumstances they will agree to effectively reverse the transaction.

You should also warn your family and friends about the suspected scammer.
