Push-ups can put some pressure on your wrists but there are other chest exercises that you should be able to do comfortably. A bench press with a barbell or with dumbbells will have a similar effect. But try something more challenging that fires up those additional muscles, including your core, like a chest press using dumbbells to support yourself so you don’t have to bend your wrists. Be sure to consult your doctor or physio before embarking on any new exercise though, and make sure your surgeon has given you the all-clear.
