Woman's hilarious Tinder encounter at airport

A woman has shared the embarrassing moment she swiped left on a guy on Tinder, while being completely unaware he was sitting behind her.

Taylor Stag explained on Twitter that she’d been innocently swiping whilst at the airport to kill time, when things took the unexpected turn.

“My flight was delayed three hours so I was doing what any human does when they’re bored,” she wrote.

But while she was “minding my own business swiping through Tinder” she heard someone make a noise.

“The guy behind me goes, ‘Ouch, hard no for that one?'” she said. “And I turn around ONLY TO SEE THE MAN I JUST SWIPED NO ON BEHIND ME.”

Awkies.

Naturally, her tweet has gathered heaps of attention, with many responding desperate to know how she handled the situation.

“So I turn around like, ‘What?’ and he goes ‘I’m pretty sure that was my Tinder profile but it’s fine’,” she revealed.

After telling him it was “nothing personal”, Taylor then faked that her flight was boarding and hid in the toilets for 45 minutes.

Social media users lapped the story up, with many teasing that she’s missed out on her “one true love”.

“I was expecting a full blown story about how he’s sent her flowers everyday since they met and they got engaged, but NO SHE RAN FROM FATE,” one person wrote.

“THIS IS HOW SOULMATES HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE TWITTER FINDS YOUR TRUE LOVE…..CAUSE THAT WAS HIM,” another excited user wrote.

“That’s your soulmate girl we need to find him,”

Despite pleas for the guy to get in touch from Twitter users, Taylor has deemed her time on Tinder over for now.
