TikTok user says she sustained a gruesome injury while attempting viral ‘WAP' dance: 'Please guys be safe'

TikTok’s latest dance trend is not for the faint of heart — or the untrained dancer, it seems.

A complicated routine set to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s summer hit “WAP” has entranced the app’s users, and has officially claimed at least one victim.

A user by the name of lib_bbbbbbb shared footage of herself attempting the dance — and it goes horribly wrong, to say the least.

“Never doing the WAP dance again,” she wrote in the video, which showed her kicking her legs in the air, attempting a split and falling down before it transitioned to footage of her on the ground, lying on a stretcher then lying in the hospital with a brace on her knee and an IV in her arm.

“Popped her knee out doing a TikTok dance can’t make this up,” an onlooker wrote in a Snapchat shot from the incident, which the user included in her video.

The video went viral and has since been viewed more than 3.7 million times — at least once by Cardi B herself, who shared the video on her Instagram.

“Please guys be safe while doing the WAP WAP WAP,” she wrote in her caption.

Commenters poked fun at the situation, but still managed to express some sympathy.

“Girl the song says that’s a WAP not that’s a WRAP,” one user commented on the original video.

“What did you tell the emergency staff??” another asked.

‘The pains we go through for TikTok,” a third said.

Lib_bbbbbbb hasn’t shared any updates on her condition since posting the video, but we can assume that since she shared it in the first place means she’s doing well enough to laugh at the whole situation.
