They had the eyes of the world on them when they stepped out onto the steps of the Lindo Wing ward on Monday to present their new baby boy to the world.

And now it’s been revealed exactly what Kate Middleton and Prince William said to each other as they stood there with hundreds of cameras flashing in their direction.

A lip reader dissected videos of the couple and revealed that the exited couple spent the whole time deciding which direction they were going to wave in.

“Are you OK with him?” William could be seen asking Kate, as they exited the doors of the Lindo Wing with their new little prince.

“Yeah”, Kate replied, before they continued down the stairs with smiles on their faces.

William says “look, there he is. Over there,” and the both of them wave to the left.

Then Kate says “let’s just wave over there”, before they begi to wave to the right.

Again, the couple seem to notice somebody they know in the crowd and Kate says to William “Look, he is there” and they both wave.
