William and Kate Just Shared a Very Rare Video of the Cambridge Kids Speaking

Famed environmentalist and television broadcaster David Attenborough has been a friend of the royals for decades. And now, he's getting to know the youngest generation of the family.

This morning, Kate Middleton (who has said that Attenborough is her favorite celebrity that she has ever met) and Prince William shared a video of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, each asking Attenborough a question about nature.

The Cambridges rarely share videos of their children with the public, and this is possibly the first time they've posted a clip of their little ones speaking on camera. The footage, which was filmed last month at Kensington Palace and can be viewed above, kicks off with Prince George asking a tough question: "What animal do you think will become extinct next?"

The naturalist tried to assuage any of George's fears by saying, "Let's hope there won't be any!" before launching into an explanation about efforts to save endangered animals like the mountain gorillas of central Africa.

Princess Charlotte's question was a bit more personal. "I like spiders, do you like spiders too?" the 5-year-old asked.

"I love spiders, I'm so glad you like them!" Attenborough promptly responded, questioning "Why is it that people are so frightened of them?" and speaking of how "marvelous" spiders webs are.

And finally, 2-year-old Louis very sweetly asked "What ammimal do you like?"

"I think I like monkeys best," Attenborough said, but if he had to pick an animal that can live inside a house? He'd pick dogs over cats any day.
