A wife got so fed up with her husband’s snoring that she decided to turn it into a song and release it on every music platform worldwide.

Little did she know that #DaveDon’tSnore would become a hit, and make her snoring husband a veritable Spotify artist.

“I don’t know what’s more upsetting, that my wife uploaded my snoring to Spotify, that 44,000 people have listened to it, or that she took the time to release an instrumental version,” Dave posted to Twitter a few weeks ago.

But since then the song has taken off with over 145k streams on Spotify, and almost 60k streams on Youtube music.

In reply Dave changed his profile bio to read: “My wife thought it was hilarious to release a song of me snoring. Joke’s on her, I now have 95,037 monthly listeners on Spotify.”

And he has gained plenty of fans.

His hilarious tweet has also been turned into a meme which is going viral on Facebook.

Dave’s wife, who goes by Duck Mischief on Twitter, has also continued to share updates on the success of the track.

Just this week the tune hit #29 in the Singapore Viral 50 charts, before climbing to #17.

“Five places above Ed Sheeran!” she wrote in a tweet.

The viral song has also fuelled a bunch of spin offs including, ‘Dave also plays a mean flute’ and ‘Dave found his old synthesizer’.

And they’ve even teased another song on the way.
