Why Travis Kelce Wanted to See Taylor Swift's Eras Tour One More Time
"That thing was rocking."
Never has there ever been a more supportive couple than Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who show up time and time again to cheer each other, no matter how booked and busy their schedules are. As Swift prepares to wrap up her famed Eras Tour at the end of this year, Kelce opened up about why he was adamant about attending her Indianapolis show over the weekend, despite it being in the middle of football season.
"I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up," Kelce said during this week's episode of the "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce" podcast. Swift played three shows at the Lucas Oil Stadium to close out the American leg of the tour before she heads to Canada later this month for her final concerts. She'll play several shows at Rogers Centre in Toronto starting on November 14, and on November 16, she'll head to Vancouver to play three shows at BC Place, where she'll say farewell to tour life on December 8.
Kelce said the fact that this is Swift's second time around in America was reflected in the crowd's energy.
"I'll tell you what, man. The American crowds, they did not disappoint," Kelce said. "I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I'll tell you what, man, that thing was rocking. Absolutely rocking."
Since the two began dating last year, Kelce has been spotted in the audience at countless shows, and even joined her on stage at Wembley Stadium in London. In June, Kelce shocked fans by making a cameo during The Tortured Poet's Department portion of the show. The NFL tight end dressed in a tuxedo and top hat and joined her dancers in a skit before she performed "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."
