Whoopi Goldberg lowers head toward “The View” table after Joy Behar's digital device once again interrupts live show

Behar claimed it was her "watch" that clapped through "The View" soundscape, though Sunny Hostin reached over and turned Behar's iPhone at the table.

Joy Behar's insurgent army of digital devices has once again pierced The View's aural soundscape with an interruptive distraction from an otherwise heated discussion about the 2024 presidential race.

Moments after moderator Whoopi Goldberg stepped in Thursday to halt a mounting clash between cohosts Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sunny Hostin, who over estimated Democratic shortcomings in the election, one of Behar's tech terrorists piped up to make its voice heard, too.

The latest in the growing number of Behar's wave of cellular infractions occurred as Goldberg spoke her estimation that Donald Trump will likely not go to jail for his various crimes after winning the election, with a wall of cheery jingles clapping through the show's soundscape during Goldberg's observation.

"You want to get it? I'll wait," Goldberg said, shortly after Hostin reached over to flip over Behar's cell phone. A clearly unsettled Behar said, "It's my watch" ahead of a few moments of confused silence as she stared down an off-camera presence.

The camera then cut to Goldberg, who stifled laughter and eventually lowered her head toward the table amid nervous audience laughter. "We have to be able to laugh at something, Joy," Hostin cut in.

Behar then expertly shifted focus to her sassy outfit, which had plumes of brown feathers jutting out from the sleeves: "With these feathers, how could I laugh?" Behar said, dancing in her seat.

Goldberg then successfully transitioned the show to a commercial break, and not another peep was heard from Behar's digital realm of sonic torture.

Thursday's incident follows many months of torment at the hands of Behar's digital devices, which also includes past battles with Siri (who once interrupted the show to give the 82-year-old directions to her seat at the table) and, of course, her cell phone. It was not, though, the first of the week, as Behar's phone went off on Tuesday's broadcast, too.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ABC.
