At his Malibu home after his TV tell-all about his gender transition, Bruce Jenner is quietly focused on building his new life as a woman. He's holding "girls' parties," buying dresses online and relishing small things like nail polish. Insiders tell of his latest surgeries and next steps, and how the Kardashian and Jenner clans are coping. "The whole transition was much harder for the Kardashian kids and Kylie and Kendall," says a Kardashian source. "It's going to take some time for the kids to get used to it all." Still, says Kim: "We all really want to support him."

HEARTBREAKING FINAL HOURS

With just over 24 hours to live, Bali 9 death-row inmate Andrew Chan was beaming on April 27 as he married his fiancée, Febyanti "Feby" Herewila, in a "quiet and gentle" church service. "Obviously there was a heartbreaking side [but] it was a very happy occasion," Chan's lawyer Julian McMahon tells WHO, as Chan's brother Michael prayed for a last-minute show of compassion "so that these two young people can carry on with their lives." But after months of appeals, the last traces of hope vanished on April 28, and shortly after midnight Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were executed. Before his death, "Myuran said he has come to terms with it and he’s ready,” his friend Aaron Eisler tells WHO.
