Posing in a baby blue dress with her baby girl, Kelsey Lee snuggled safely in her arms, Kyly Clarke is a picture of contentment.

While Kelsey Lee's November birth didn't quite go to plan––she was born five weeks early via Caesarean––for Clarke, 34, the fact that she's in the world safely is all that matters.

"I would have loved a natural birth," the owner of Lyfestyled by Kyly Clarke tells WHO. "But that wasn't set out for me and Kelsey Lee and that's okay."
Clarke explains how when she went into labour, doctors warned her and husband Michael Clarke that because of the seriousness of the situation her baby might not cry straight away. However, "I tried to stay as positive as I could no matter what news I got or result I was given," says Clarke. And it paid off.

"I've never actually cried the way I cried when I heard her (cry). It was a combination of relief and realising it had all come true," Clarke recounts.

It's also why Clarke has dedicated her new book, True to You, to her new daughter. "It's so important to see the positive in every day," she says.
