Nicki Minaj Confronts Miley Cyrus on MTV VMAs Stage

Nicki Minaj is not one to back down – not from Miley Cyrus – and not on the MTV Video Music Awards stage on Sunday.

Earlier this week, Cyrus commented on the brief July Twitter feud between Minaj and Taylor Swift, calling the Anaconda rapper "not too kind" in an interview with the New York Times.

It seems Minaj, 32, was waiting for her moment to confront the 22-year-old. And, apparently, she thought the VMA stage was just the place to do it.

"Now, back to this b---h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press," Minaj said about Cyrus after taking the stage to receive the award for best hip-hop video.

"Miley, what's good?!"

The VMA host (donning a lip-shaped skirt and eye-shaped bra) at first looked caught off guard by the rapper's remark, but then turned to Minaj to respond and explain.

"Hey, we're all in this industry. We all do interviews," Cyrus, who sported blonde dread locks, began. "And we all know how they manipulate."

She added: "Nicki, congratu – f------ – lations," before turning back to the audience with a hair flip.

"The Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus feud is a very real thing," an MTV source tells WHO, adding that their "jaws dropped" while watching the feed.
