In a strange, undated video posted to YouTube Sunday, the 29-year-old actor performed a freestyle rap shirtless – his rat tail his only backup – surrounded by a group of young people in a park.

LaBeouf's lengthy rap references everything from potatoes to Galileo. And even though his NSFW rhymes and words trip him up a few times, he never stops.

"Makin' no sense, but it doesn't really matter, though," he raps.

LaBeouf also pokes fun at the mega-movie that helped make him a star.

"Transformers is the dummy rap, and I'm so past that," says LaBeouf in the 2 ½-minute video.

The actor recently proved his dance skills in Sia's music video, in which he performed alongside Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler, 12.

LaBeouf has continued to make headlines for his bizarre behaviour. In April, he told Variety in an email interview that celebrities are "enslaved" and "the enemy of the individual".

He also caused a stir while promoting Nymphomaniac in February 2014 when – on a red carpet in Germany – he wore a paper bag over his head that read "I am not famous anymore".
