Ask one little question about new bride Amal and George Clooney seems ready to gush. But ask him about the possibility of having kids and the actor seems eager to escape to Tomorrowland.

CBS This Morning aired the second part of Charlie Rose's chat with his Oscar-winning pal on Wednesday, which featured the esteemed interviewer trying his best to get the newlywed to share his thoughts on children.

The typically cool actor, 54, looked uncharacteristically uncomfortable as Rose delicately brought up the subject.

"The one thing that I don't have in my life is children," Rose said. "Do you ever think about that?"

"I haven't really," Clooney replied. "I've thought about it I suppose, but I haven't really – it hasn't been high on my list, uh, I've been asked a lot lately because I've gotten married and I'm doing a movie with kids in it. You should see how creative the way they ask me."

Nice deflection attempt, George, but Rose was having none of it.

"You know why I'm asking you, though," he said without skipping a beat. "Because you have such a great dad, and you're so close to him. That must be a powerful emotion for you."

"It is, and I'm really close with my mum, too," Clooney replied, clearly not biting. "I'm really close with my family."
