Sofia Vergara on Herself: 'Damn, I Still Look Good!'

Sofia Vergara gave a refreshingly honest answer when asked about the recent, revealing photo she shared with the world.

The 41-year-old actress joked that she posted a racy snapshot of herself online (see it below to refresh your memory) because she's grateful – and even a bit surprised – to look as great as she does.

"My son took that picture," she said during On Air With Ryan Seacrest. "And I'm like, 'Damn I still look good! I'm going to post this one.' At this age, you don't take for granted a good picture."

The Modern Family star posted the pic to her WhoSay page while on vacation in Mexico during the holidays.

Mexico is a favorite spot for Vergara and Loeb, who got engaged there in the summer of 2012 while celebrating the four-time Emmy nominee's 40th birthday.

Vergara also explained that although she sometimes leaves her engagement ring at home, rumors of a split with Loeb are laughable.

"I laugh all the time, because what else can I do? I mean at least they're talking about me, no?" she said.

"I read the most absurd things, like one day I'm engaged, one day because I go to the gym without the ring then I'm not engaged and it's some horrible tragedy. Then the other day I'm getting married, then I'm giving birth."
