Whitney Leavitt Confirms She'll Return for “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Season 2: 'Tough Conversations Ahead'
Whitney shared her announcement following news that the Hulu reality series will come back with 20 new episodes in 2025
Whitney Leavitt is coming back to MomTok.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star confirmed she'll be back for season 2 of the reality series on Friday, Oct. 4, with an Instagram post.
In the video, the soon-to-be mom of three sits with her husband Conner, who voices over Kris Jenner as she infamously asked Kim Kardashian, "What would happen if you just called Taylor [Swift] up and ask what happened, how did this go so South?"
The comment prompts Leavitt to open up the MomTok group chat, which shows a message from Taylor Frankie Paul, saying, "Hey guys added Whit back to the chat!"
Leavitt writes back, "Excited to film season 2 with all of you 🤍 I know there's tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together."

Leavitt's exit from the group text was a big turning point in her connection with the rest of the cast — Paul, Jennifer Affleck, Demi Engemann, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura and Layla Taylor.
"Whitney left the group chat. I can't say I'm shocked because Whitney makes very dramatic decisions based off of emotion, but I am a little shocked at the same time because it was a very public f--- you to all of us because she wanted us to see it," Ngatikaura said in the episode. "I think she wanted to ruffle some feathers and see who would check on her afterward."
When Neeley does eventually check in with Leavitt, the frustrated TikToker tells her friend that she feels like there are no connections left for her within the group. She laments that they've never been "genuine, real friends."
Neeley concedes things can be "transactional," at times but believes people are genuine in their pursuit of connection as well.
"I don’t think we’re friends. Everyone’s competitive against each other, gets easily jealous of each other, rude to each other. That’s not what real friends do to each other," Leavitt said, tearful and frustrated. She then added, "I feel like it’s mutual. I don’t even feel like anyone wants to f------ be my friend right now."
During her sit down on Off the Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe, Leavitt shared her hopes for a second season and what she could do differently.
"During that time, I was going through so much that when I watch it, I'm like, 'Well, yeah, I was reacting that way because of [X, Y and Z],' " Leavitt continued. "There's a reason why we react to certain things in our life. And, unfortunately, there was some context that wasn't there as to why I made certain decisions or as to why I reacted that way, which doesn't always make it right."
Leavitt noted that she recognized some of her reactions to the drama were "dramatic," but she hoped to "continue to be myself" in the new season.
"What I really learned from this last season is I just wanna let go of what I can't control," she added. "I can't control what other women are gonna say or do or whatever, but, like, I control what I can control and I also don't wanna take things as personally as I did in the first season."
