‘White powder’ discovered at scene says report

Now a police report made public by The Sun reveals more about the circumstance of the deaths, and the surroundings in which the couple were found.

The report described a “plate with an unknown white powder substance as well as a straw and a plastic card that was sitting on the dresser” in the bedroom where the couple were discovered.

It also established that the pair had been dead for ‘some time’ when they were found by a roommate, and there were no signs of trauma or disturbance to the surroundings.

The report also claimed the pair were known to do ‘harder drugs’ like meth and cocaine according to close friends and family.

Car alerts friends to Gregory’s death

The tragic details come after the death was confirmed by a source who told E! News that it was Mr Boyce’s car that alerted friends to a possible issue.

The source has told the publication they were both found in their Las Vegas condo on Wednesday May 13, "Greg's cousin woke up and noticed that Greg's car was still at the house. He was worried because Greg was to be in LA. His cousin went to check on him and found them."

They added that before his death Gregory was "really focused and handling a lot of business" and while he had moved to Las Vegas to be near his mother, he "would commute to LA for acting jobs and to see his daughter".

Just three days before the heartbreaking discovery Gregory had taken to Instagram with a tribute to his partner Natalie.

“Happy Mother's Day again to my right hand/ my roll dog/ my Queen! Love you,” he captioned the sweet snap of the pair on the beach.

In another heartbreaking twist, the star had taken to Instagram in December while celebrating his 30th birthday saying he didn't believe he'd make it to this point in his life.

He wrote, "At one point I didn't think I would make it to see 30 years old. Over the years like everyone else I have made mistakes along the way, but today is one of those days I only reflect on the great ones. What a time to be alive. Happy Dirty 30 self! Let's make the rest of these years your best!!"

He was fond of posting tributes to his 10-year-old daughter on the platform, celebrating her as his ‘biggest joy’.

Gregory's mother Lisa Wayne took to Facebook to share her heartbreak over her loss.

He had last seen his mother two days before his death while celebrating Mother's Day.

She wrote, "I'm sick without you. I'm torn, I'm lost. I'm in pain. I'd text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you'd tell me, Ma, I got you, we'll get thru this together. Boy. Why did you leave me?"

Gregory had been dating Natalie for just over a year.

She was 27 years old and described in a GoFundMe page by her family as a "loving daughter, niece, sister, cousin, and friend".

They continued, "Natalie had so much life to live [and] we are saddened that her life was cut short. Natalie leaves behind her one and only baby boy Egypt, her father, two brothers and one sister, and a host of family and friends who love her dearly."

Gregory is survived by his daughter Alaya, 10.
