Will the Wheel of Fortune contestant who made one of the worst guesses in the game show's history might actually have brought some joy to the world.

Because saying "Treat yourself a round of sausage" when the answer to the puzzle was “Give yourself a round of applause” was so good. It was delicious (no pun intended, OK maybe not) and fun and of course it then became a meme.

The Rocket Man singer admitted there was an unanticipated downside to ditching his birth name. Elton, 77, was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in 1947 but legally changed his name to Elton Hercules John on 7 January 1972. "Reginald is a really old-fashioned name," Elton told Good Morning America in a new interview airing this week. "It's shortened to Reggie, which I hated.
