Which Unexplained Plot Twist From A TV Show Or Movie Still Bothers You?

When played right, plot twists make for an exciting, edge-of-your-seat story, and uncovering how they happened is part of the fun. However, sometimes, when you're watching a TV show or a movie (especially if it's a sequel), they throw in an unexpected plot twist for shock value and then just never explain it.

The most obvious example is how Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker brought back a major villain from the original series in a simple single line.

Or, in BBC Sherlock Season 3, the titular detective returns to John Watson's life two years after his mysterious death in the Season 2 finale. He refuses to explain how he did it, and it's haunted me for nearly ten years.
