Wendy's is ready to make your fall a little bit cozier with a brand-new Frosty flavor that's perfect for fall vibes. On Thursday, the fast food chain announced that it's releasing a brand-new Salted Caramel Frosty flavor, which will be available starting November 12 at locations across the nation.

As its press release described, the flavor is “rich, salty caramel perfectly balanced with Wendy’s iconic sweet & creamy Frosty treat," adding that it's "a spoonful of warm and cozy comfort in every chilly bite."

There is a little bad news for Vanilla Frosty fans, though. The new Salted Caramel flavor will replace the vanilla version, at least for just a little while, People reported. Additionally, a source shared with People that the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, inspired by "Spongebob Squarepants," will also be removed from the menu once this new flavor comes online.

Still, that didn't appear to dull people's excitement about the new flavor. In the comments on Snackolator's Instagram post about the new flavor, people seemed hyped to try it, noting it's a "wonderful sight to see." However, several fans said they were OK with this addition "as long as we still get peppermint afterward."

The Frosty flavor wasn't the only new addition Wendy's announced for fall. In the release, it also shared that it's dropping two more limited-time menu items — the mushroom bacon cheeseburger and an updated taco salad.

The mushroom burger, Wendy's shared, comes topped with bacon, Muenster cheese, a garlic spread, and, of course, a massive stack of roasted mushrooms. Next is the upgraded salad, which the chain had previously sold but discontinued as a limited item. But now, it's back, and this time, it's topped with fire-roasted corn, tortilla strips, chili, sour cream, and salsa — along with a creamy salsa dressing.

As for the next Frosty flavor, we're not sure if fans will get their wish of getting the peppermint flavor or not, but it's a solid bet that Wendy's will reveal at least some tantalizing holiday version of its drink. After all, it is rather well-known at this point for its limited-time flavor substitutions, having released an Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, a Triple Berry Frosty, and that Pineapple Frosty all within the last few months alone.

We'll just have to wait another month to see what our holiday surprise may be.
